I think my device is bricked.
i was at the latest firmware version and I had issues with dropped connections that weren't as bad before I upgraded so I went to flash back to the old firmware.
flash seemed to go ok but after about 10mins of no connection I rebooted the device and nothing at all is happening.

No sign of the wireless networks, no connection even after hard setting my laptop to 192.168.1.10 255.255.255.0 and 192.168.1.1 gateway.

Is there anything I can do ?

Did you try to hard reset it? How about status of all lights on W8980?
If any light is abnormal even you reset it, you device should be faulty. You can get it replaced under warranty.

That's the weird thing, the lights seem ok.

Just nothing working at all.

How do I go about getting it replaced under warranty do you know.
