I bought this router to extend my network from my house to the garage, where the main internet connection comes in. I have a router in the garage and was hoping to configure this as a wired bridge so I could see my NAS and the rest of my computers from both places. Is this possible?

Currently, I've plugged the 4300 into my main router, and have access to the net, but I can't see the rest of the network which makes sense, as it is still in "router mode." I've got DD-WRT on my main router and I bought this model because it is also supported by DD-WRT, and I had planned to reflash it, but the instructions for reflashing on the DD-WRT site are a bit unclear and I don't don't want to "brick" my router. Is there a way to do it with the TP link software, or am I stuck taking a chance with a reflash?

Thank you very much in advance for any advice.

Cheers,
Robin

Are you trying to connect WDR4300 to the main router by cable and use it as an access point, or connect them wirelessly and use it in WDS mode?
For the former---access point, http://www.tp-link.com/en/article/?faqid=417.
For the latter---WDS, http://www.tp-link.com/en/article/?faqid=440.
