I have a Macbook Air, running Yosemite. I'm trying to set up printer sharing with a Canon Pixma IP4700, all the printer drivers are installed. When I click on the TP-Link USB Printer Controller I get the error message: TP-Link USB Printer Controller quit unexpectedly". I'm also unable to connect to an external USB 3.0 hard drive via the 2nd USB on the back of the router. It says "The server may not exist or it is unavailable at this time.

Thanks in advance.

1. Your printer is not in compatibility list. http://www.tp-link.com/common/compatible/print-server/
2. Printer controller utility cannot be running on MAC.
3. Check if your USB drive should be supported by TD-W8970.: http://www.tp-link.com/en/article/?faqid=603
