System Log Auto Mail Feature
Region : Netherlands
Model : TL-WR941ND
Hardware Version :
Firmware Version : 3.13.9 Build 120201 Rel.54965n
ISP :
This is about the System Log Auto Mail Feature.
It says in my log: "Wrong user name or wrong password of mail account."
But in the mail account setting under User Name it doesn't say what is said in the user manual
"User Name - Your mail account name filled in the From field. The part behind @ is excluded."
I think that with, "The part behind @ is excluded." lies a problem.
I have four(4) email accounts with different providers and ISP's
But they all use my complete email address as my user name to login into my email account.
So included the part after the "@" sign.
In my case my email is: "anon@ymousg.com" <-- this is fake, just for illustration ;-)
But also my user name is also: "anon@ymous.com" <-- this is fake, just for illustration ;-)
Can anyone confirm/contradict this?
If I can use the mail function it would greatly enhance the usability of the wireless router by being monitored
With kind regards
