Hi.
I have a TL-WR642G V4 router, it gets internet from my cisco router, because of the service provider.
My first computer is connected to the cisco router, and the another is to the WR642G. On speedtest.net, I can't get more than 50 Mbps download speed with the WR642G, while with the cisco, I get more than 110 Mbps (im paying for 120Mbps, but i know the tp-link is only 100Mbps).
Whats the problem? Where can I set it?

Thanks,

Erik

internet ---- Cisco router ------WR642 ---- computer

In your topology, the computer has to get through two routers (2 NAT), of course there will be speed loss. Change your usage, follow this article to configure the second router as a access point.

http://www.tp-link.com/en/article/?faqid=417

Key steps:
1. disable DHCP service on the WR642
2. connect the WR642's LAN port to your Cisco router's LAN port.
