Hello

I need to reboot my modem almost everyday. The downstream speed drops from 3.6 Mbps to 2Kbps, Upstream is also affected.
I noticed that the issue occurs when a large number of CRC errors is accumulated. I also noticed that these errors occur in bursts.
I am attaching a screenshot of the status dialog.

Could you please advise me how can I workaround the issue or if I need a better TP model?

SNR Margin: 4.5 db

That is too low ! ! Call your ISP let them check your adsl line. If they insist the line is Okay, you may try resetting the TD-8817 router. Reconfigure it and use G.DMT mode.




If it still fails, buy a better one such as TD-W8951ND
