Multicast DNS in MR3420 router?
Region : Argentina
Model : TL-MR3220
Hardware Version : V2
Firmware Version :
ISP :
Hi there
I am experiencing an issue accessing my computers on a MR3420 supplied network using the ".local" domain.
For example, I can "ping COMPUTER" successfully, but "ping COMPUTER.local" does not work.
Apparently this is due to the router's MDNS or Multicast DNS ability.
Is MDNS responsible for the ".local" name resolution?
Can MDNS be enabled on a TP-Link MR3420 3G/4G router?
Regards
Joe
