Hi,

I can no longer receive my Talktalk-Youview internet 'Boost' channels since I upgraded to the Archer D5. Since this is not a TT supplied product they offer only very limited support. They supply only very basic settings, which don't seem to help:

PPPoA
0/38
Auto encapsulation
MTU 1432

Everything else works, but I just can receive these channels. They show up on the Guide and I can receive info on the shows, but no programming.

I've tried a variety of settings and approaches. I've also enabled IPTV, but doing that seems to prevent the Youview box from connecting to the internet.

Anyone figure out how to do this?

Many thanks.

Hi Guy,
Hmm.....it seems that you are very confused ,aren't you?
Okay I can tell you something about my Archer D5 :)
I have an Archer D5 as well and suffered the same problem in th past days.
But I am so clever that I finally solved it by myself.
You can refer to my configuration to have a try.
Since your ISPis TT,just add one Bridge PVC using the following parameters:
VPI=0;
VCI=65;
QoS=ubr;
Encapusulation:1483 Bridge Only LLC
Brdige Type=PPP
You can have a try ~

You're brilliant! That works perfectly.
How did you know to add the bridge with those settings?

Wow,because I enjoy doing researches and expriments.
I am keen on this, yeah.
When I was six years old ,I was already able to fix the old radio for my grandmother.
I am also keen on routers, switches and etc.
When it comes to your issue , at first I didn't know the solution at all.
But I think trying to add something may look better.
So I added on PPPOE ,not work, added one PPPOA,not work , added one bridge ,worked!
That's why I made it work. lol~

Anyway,I am happy you are able to make it work now.
