So I'm looking for a new router, because my 1043 suffers from interference. What I'm wondering is what's the difference between V1.2 and V2. I see V2 has one antenna less. Is there a flaw in the V1.2 design? I need a reliable router for streaming movies over the 5 Ghz range.

All c5 v 1.20 hardware is the same as c7 v2.0? Why DD-wrt create different FW for that devices? Boot loader different?

For followers, I have tried the two out and it appeared at least anecdotally to me that the v1.20 (with 3 external antennae and 3 internal antennae) had much better range than the v2 (with 2 external antennae only). Cheers!
