TP-LINK WR740N disconnects frequently over WiFi
Region : India
Model : TL-WR740N
Hardware Version : V5
Firmware Version : 3.16.9 Build 150312 Rel.60422n
ISP :
My Desktop is connected to the Router via LAN and my Laptop is connected to the router through WiFi.
My Desktop never loses connection with the router but my Laptop does frequently.
This disconnection happens while skyping or sharing big files over WiFi between Desktop and Laptop.
Sometimes the Laptop shows 'Limited Access'.
Below are the settings of my router -

I tried setting the Primary DNS to 8.8.8.8 as advised in many of the TP-LINK forums
I've tried all 'Mode', all 'Channel Width' and all 'Channel', especially 1, 6, and 11 which was recommended on many forums.
Other issue:
I get a maximum file transfer speed of 12.5kbps over WiFi. In my previous BinaTone router, I used to get speeds upto 5-8 Mbps. What should I do?
