Attached USB HD goes to sleep

Hardware Version : V1
Firmware Version : 0.6.0 2.13 v000c.0 Build 140919 Rel.52310n
ISP : OTE
My external usb drive, goes to sleep (appr. after 20 minutes of inactivity). How can i keep it on?
1. I've already tried the soluution setting check the media server every hour, but 1 hout is long....
2. No pc is on, so as to use any utility to keep the hd on.
Is there maybe a way through telnet to set the check time for media server to e.g. 15 min?
