Archer C8 V1 firmware confusion

Model : Archer C8
Hardware Version : Not Clear
Firmware Version : 3.16.27 Build 20140905 Rel. 51545
ISP : Plusnet Fibre
I'm a new owner of an Archer C8 v1. After getting my router up and running (very easy), I went on line to check that the new router came with the latest firmware. I am totally confused by the firmware version on line.
My C8 shows the firmware version as 3.16.27 Build 20140905 Rel. 51545
The download Centre shows the latest firmware as Archer C8_V1_150316
That's not exactly clear, but I assume that they may be the same? Would someone enlighten me as to why the support site is using different naming convension and are they the same please?
