Can TP link accesspoint / router solutions be configured like this...

In summary I need:
- A wifi sharing solution that I can preconfigure. Then connect to power and a switch using an ethernet cable.
- A wifi sharing solution where I can actually configure signal strength and wifi protocols used.
I only want something with a "bubble" of 6-7 meters
I understand 2.4ghz is stronger/penetrates more than 5ghz so it may be sufficient if I can simply turn that off.
I would hink what am looking for could be solved by one of the tp-link travel router / AP solutions, but I am not able to read what kind of configuration I get? Could anyone recommend me a TP product that offers configuraiton?
