Problem with usb 3.0 update and TL-WN821N
Region : Portugal
Model : TL-WN821N
Hardware Version : V4
Firmware Version :
ISP :
Hello everyone,
Just made a new desktop with the following specs (shortened to what I think its most important for my problem can post more specs):
Operating System
Windows 7 Professional 64-bit SP1
CPU
Intel Core i5 4590 @ 3.30GHz
Haswell 22nm Technology
Motherboard
MSI H97M-G43(MS-7924) (SOCKET 0)
And I bought a TL-WN821N as my wireless pen, and it worked right as I instaled the drivers from tp-link website. However when I updated my motherboard drivers the problems began, and some weird problems too.
When I started my computer normally, the wireless pen connected however after connecting it instantly crashed my internet modem, it then required for me to manually restart the modem for the conection to come back. Which crashed right after because my computer tried to connect once the signal came back.
After doind a system restore I filtered the crashing update to the usb 3.0 motherboard update. And so I've been working with usb 2.0 to have internet but as you can compreend this isnt a solution, the usb 3.0 is great and I want it so I kinda want to find a solution.
What are your toughs on my problem? As I had the usb 3.0 drivers I tried manually updating my drivers once again (downloaded them from my laptop) but the problem continued. Should I try something else or just ask for a refund and choose another wireless pen maybe a pci one?
