TL-WA901ND V3 very unreliable
Region : UK
Model : TL-WA901ND
Hardware Version : V3
Firmware Version : 3.16.9 Build 150409 Rel.60640n
ISP : NewNet
I've had a TL-WA901ND for a few months - it's been mostly OK until recently. In the last couple of weeks, it has become incredibly unreliable - with a few devices attached it suddenly drops all of them. Sometimes they still show up in the Wireless Statistics page, other times they all disappear. Even devices very close (within 2 feet) to the router can't attach. With a reboot everything is OK again for a few hours. It's operating in 'Access Point' mode - most other settings are default.
The problem is that I bought this device because I just need it to work - I don't have the expertise or time to spend hours diagnosing problems - I have other things to do. This is meant to be a consumer device. It is too late for me to return it, so I am stuck with an unusable WiFi connection.
I have put the newest firmware on - it's already dropped all connections 3 times in the 24h since then.
Can anyone help, or will TP-LINK give me a refund for this very unreliable, shoddy piece of hardware?
