I have this Wi-Fi Router with the newest firmware version (150717) which recently disappeared from the download center.
Should i revert it to the older firmware (140613) or leave it as it is?
I concerned about security or other serious defects.
I really appreciate any help you can provide.

Same question here.
I also noticed that the SpeedBoost feature was gone in the new firmware, so was wondering maybe it was taken down in order to fix this.
Would be great if someone from TP-LINK could comment on this.

I don't see an issue that might require you to revert to older firmware, I you feel it is okay and no problem when using the latest then why bother reverting? Just my 2 cents

Got a reply from TP-LINK about this.
They said that the firmware was removed because of the lack of Speedboost, so unless you rely on this feature there's no reason to downgrade. And that a new firmware with Speedboost will be released soon.

Instead that SW, flash V3 firmware. :)
V2 hardware same as new V3, only SW changed. (added IPv6 and guest network)
