HELP powerline Led not lit!

i have been using this adaptor for a while now but for a while my speed has gone down to 1-5 mbps from 30-36mbps and today the whole thing stopped working and hte powerline led (the second light) not lit/flashing at all. i tried plugging it out then plugging it back in after 30 sec, restarting my router etc but its not working at all :/ please help i need internet in my room asap i'm doing a project with group of people need the internet to do my tasks.
isp speed is 38mbps, on a good day i get up to 36
