Hi All,

I've configured my new TD-W9980 with BT Infinity and now I'm trying to open a port to a specific machine that handles SSH connections.

Firstly, the IP range I use at home is 198.168.0.x instead of the default 192.168.1.x -- not important but I though I'd mention it.

So the given SSH Server has a static IP (192.168.0.50) and DynDNS has a configured domain that correctly maps to the external IP address.

If I SSH locally, i.e. ssh user@192.168.0.50 everything works fine

I added a forwarding rule:

Service Port: 22
IP Address: 192.168.0.50
Internal Port: 22
Protocol: TCP or UDP
Status: Enabled
WAN: pppoe_ptm_101_0_d

when i try to ssh using the external address (ssh user@dynDnsDomain, or ssh user@ExternalIpAddress) the request times out.

I'm not sure as to why the forwarding rule doesn't work...? Any ideas?
