Hi,
I'm trying to get a TP-Link Archer T4UH (using a Realtek 802.11ac chipset) onto OS X 10.11 El Capitan.
Unfortunately the drivers available at TP-Link seem to cause an error during installation: you can't get it to install, as the Installer.pkg doesn't allow you to select anything in the "Select a destination / Destination select" window.
Drivers available at RealTek do allow you to get the software (Wireless Utility) and driver installed, but they don't seem to have a driver that matches the 802.11ac chipset used.
Where can I download a 'one install fits all' package, that just works on all cards by TP-Link/Realtek for OS X 10.11 El Capitan.

Windows 10: Archer T4UH (Realtek 802.11ac) Driver
2015-10-28 11:53:44
I have Windows 10 and am unable to use Driver provided by TP-Link. It is a shame that it been over six month since Window 10 is out and that don't have a driver or workaround.
Can you please let me know which Realtek driver you used to install it on Windows 10. I will appreciate if you could give me link for the driver.

T4UH v1 - Working EL Capitan Driver
2015-11-18 22:33:09
Hi.. Just bought the Wifi adapter T4UH today because MAC OSx is supported. Did not realise that El Capitan driver is not available..
Nevertheless i have found a working driver using ASUS USB-AC56 http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/wireless/USB-AC56/UT_USB_AC56_245_Mac.zip
The driver was released on Nov 09 2015.. The Wireless Network Utility is not stable, but once u set your Wifi connection profile using the utility.. you are all set to go.. Setting "Advance/Adaptivity" to "Auto:, helps to stabilise the utility
Using temporary until we have the official release from TP-Link. Hope this will help those who are looking for EL Capitan drivers..

Thanks for the advice. It works on EL Capitan and as you say, hope the official drivers arrive soon.
Once again thanks for sharing.

I also seem to be having an issue while gaming where the wifi signal just drops for about 2 seconds randomly and then works perfectly fine for a while after that till the next drop. This didn't happen with my previous adapter. Please can somebody help me fix this? I rely heavily on gaming for an income and this could cause serious problems. I purchased this wifi adapter because I have a TP-Link router and have never had any issues with their products so I thought this would be the way to go. I doubt the company I bought this product from will allow returns so I am stuck with this until there is a fix. Even after forcing the USB mode to 2, it still doesn't fix the 2 second drop while gaming. Any even so, I do not want to lose out functionality of full 5GHz power (the reason why I purchased this product). Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Connecting to typical secured wifi works fine. But when you try to connect to public wifi (where you are redirected to a splash screen) it will not work. Any tips on making this work till the non-beta driver comes out? How about the ASUS driver mentioned in the thread. Does that associate and work with public wifi that does a redirect to a disclaimer page?
