Model: Deco X50
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version:

I am having difficulty connecting my HP printer to the Wi-Fi network.

Previous routers that I have used have had a WPS button.

Without that, it seems that there is no way to connect my printer.

The printer is an HP HP LaserJet Pro MFP M28-M31.

It does not have an ethernet port or a display to enter anything, for example the router address.

I have tried to connect it to a Chromebook and an Android phone.

I suspect that this is a problem with the printer itself, because I can no longer connect it to my Chromebook with a USB cable.

However, I am posting this hoping that someone may have a suggestion.

Thanks in advance.

  @HelpFixDecoApp

Thanks for your reply. It was very helpful.

However, after trying to connect the printer to Wi-Fi, which seemed to succeed, because I got a solid Wi-Fi button, I could not find the printer when I tried to print something.

I guess it's over to HP now to see if I can get some help there.
