Current wi-fi is provided by a Virginmedia Superhub2 in an upstairs room. Unfortunately signal is poor downstairs so I have a couple of AV500 Powerline adaptors providing wired connection to smart TV and laptop. I've purchased a TL-WA901ND access point in the hope that I can extend the wifi range downstairs by hard wiring it into one of the AV500's but I'm not sure how I should configure it - or indeed if this is a workable solution. The AP quick set-up guide does not mention the use of powerline devices. Any suggestions please - I'm not that techy!

Topology: Internet---AV500(upstair)---(powerline)---AV500(downstair)---TL-WA901ND))))
The configuration of AV500, it is easy and you can also see from the website. If the AV500 is working well, then you can configurate the 901ND alone. Let it working in AP mode. http://www.tp-link.com/en/faq-824.html. Then cable connected to the AV500.
