TL-WA901ND V2 cant enter the setup

My device is set in Repeater Mode, today i tried with my laptop to enter the web based setup menu typing 192.168.1.254 (i tried with direct lan cable to the access point and via wireless) but it doesnt give me anything ( ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT)
so now i cant change anything, i thought to reset the device but i cant accept it....
any ideas ?
