Just purchased the Archer 2600 and plugged in. Completed the set up correctly however cannot connect to the internet. I have Sky fibre with a BTopenreach modem attached. Seen bits on the web saying may need third party firmware to get the new router to work? Can anyone help at all? I have got the router login credentials etc but there doesn't seem to be an option to input them when logged into the router.

Thanks in advance

Hi,

If you're cascading 2 routers (if your BT is a modem-router), you have to fine tune your settings.

Are you using the WAN port of your C2600?

Hi HiSpeed, the BT modem is just a modem. It's connected to the master socket and then an ethernet cable connects the modem to the Sky router.
