I read some other post to how to use WDS on that router but the interface is quite difference in the V5 firmware I find WSP but after under that config I do not find the WDS title.

I also do not found a pdf manual complete of v5 only the quickstart.

How to configure it as wifi repeater?

The only guide for TD-W8961N, refering to a WDS says "How to use the TD-W8961ND Wireless Bridge (WDS) Function with another TD-W8961ND".

I don't believe that you can configure TD-W8961N as a RE of another router model.

Make yourself a favour and use a device like Archer C54 (in RE mode) or a dedicated RE to achieve this.

  @terziyski I s it also true if I try to do it with ethernet cable instead of WiFi?

This is more achievable and means thatTD-W8961N will be used as an AP (acces point) - follow this guide.
