Setup TL-WA830RE ??

Recently bought the TL-WA830RE to extend my wlan.
Problem: i could access the device exactly ONCE: with PC+ethernetcable<> TL-WA830RE using 192.168.0.254. There i
configured everything, the device works.
But how can i access it AGAIN? Tplinkextender.net seems to be a total mess. Tplinkrepeater doesnt ALWAYS give the
error "It looks like you may have run into an issue" bla bla.
HOW the heck i can access it again ?!
And how can i set it up as an access point instead of extender ?
