Hi All,

I'm new to the forum and to TP Link and hoping you guys can help me out. I'm trying to configure a PPTP connection on the Archer C9 V1 but the connection drops as soon as it establishes. I've noticed that under the internet connection settings in the Advanced tab, the secondary connection is active and has obtained an IP address, but the primary connection which should be going through the VPN is unable to acquire and keep an IP address. Has anyone seen a problem like this before? I'm running firmware 4.0 Build 20150916 Rel 37772

I opened a support ticket with TP Link and they've sent me a beta version of the new firmware which has resolved the issue. The Thread can be closed.

Sounds great ... what firmware version are you using now, is it possible for us to get ?
