Have been struggling for a while with poor WiFi at end of bungalow so purchased above WiFi router.

Set up fed by Cat 6 Ethernet from BT HH5 to broadcast by wireless mainly

Have set up all IP addresses and can connect with Ethernet or WiFi

But very slow connection on Ethernet or WiFi.
38 Mb at Ethernet cable if plugged in direct to laptop.
Plug into WAN port and then connect Laptop with another cable and only connect at 12 MB
The same speed if connected by WiFi.
So got 38 MB going in and 12 MB coming out either Ethernet or wireless.
Upgraded the software to the latest available.
Am I being a numpty or have I missed a setting somewhere as can not understand why I have 38 MB in and 12 MB out?
