W8960N Wifi Dissapears
Model :
Hardware Version : Not Clear
Firmware Version :
ISP :
Hi guys,
I have recently picked up an issue with my W8960N router where all my devices connected wirelessly would lose connection due to the SSID dissapearing for about 1-2mins every 20mins or so.
Firmware: 1.4.0 Build 111108 Rel.40398n for V3
I enabled the logs, and seeing a lot of kernel: Intrusion entries in the system log. Reviewing other posts relating to this indicates this as normal as the router is actually doing its job of blocking these intrusion attempts.
Wireless security is currently on WPA2 - Personal with EAS.
I left my router off during the night to receive a new public IP, so far this morning, no intrusions have been detected since enabled the log about 5mins ago.
The device is about 4-5 years in age.
Will appreciate any help!
