Model : TD-W9970

Hardware Version : TD-W9970 v1

Firmware Version : 0.9.1 2.3 v0025.0

ISP : fastweb 20 mega

Hello,
I just got my new TD-W9970 and unfortunately i have to say that is a sort of downgrade from my old TD-W8960N (which i can't use anymore because my line is vdsl now), the problem is related to the Bandwidth Control.
On the old adsl modem i hadn't to reboot the modem like on this new one.
Does the TD-W9980 version require to reboot? in the case i could think about returning the W9970 and buy the best version, even if i don't really need it in terms of performance etc.

Sorry for the bad english and thank you in advance

Because the chipset is different on W9980 and 8960N.
So some functions may different.
After you set bandwidth rules, you can reboot the router to make it take effect.
