would be more impressed if the TP-Link utility allowed 

a) copy firmware version 

b) displayed Powerline Key of connected devices

I've got four; one doesn't appear to be working but the default settings don't tell me which three (of the 4) are connected, other than default names  - which have now been reset as I had to download and re-install the utility to make it work again ... having followed advice to try using Old utitlity, which did not work at all ... <sigh>

I now seem to have a dead Poweline adapter but cannot really see what is wrong with it. It attempts to pair but then has no lights at all.
