Hello everyone,

My main concern I'm going to make is that the downstream of the archer vr200 seems to keep the same speed regardless what i do. It doesn't seem to be increasing even though i know the line is capable of 38mb. The old routers we have used, although unstable, would actively increase in downstream speed over time to about 37-38mb. I really like the VR200 due to its stability and features, but the lack of increase of downstream speed seems to be bugging me. Is there any way of increasing the downstream of this router via advanced settings?

Hardware info:
Firmware Version:0.8.0 0.5 v0053.0 Build 160122 Rel.41839n Hardware Version:Archer VR200 v1 00000000

ISP: BT
Service: Infinity 2

Many thanks

Are you familiar with the BT DLM process? There's a good writeup at http://www.kitz.co.uk/adsl/DLM.htm . Are you stuck at say 35 Mbps? If so the speed may increase, all else being good ... but it could take weeks and will jump suddenly rather than gradually. It's possible (as it was for me) that your profile cap came into effect when you were experimenting with different routers. Frustrating ....
