I have the following situation:

I run a desktop PC with Windows 7 and have Internet access by cable. I want my PC to share his connection with my Smartphone.
Since I am not able to put a Wireless-Router in this location, I planned to purchasing a TL-WN823N to launch a small WiFi.

My main Problem here: Will the USB-devide be able to hide his SSID?
I am aware that hiding the SSID does nothing security wise. I don't care about that.

Also, I am not able to use a card-based adapter. USB is the only available choice here.
