Power bank not working after one recharge

The power supply to my mobile from the power bank became intermittent after the first recharge of the mobile. I according to the user manual provided, charged the power bank to it's full capacity as this was my first use of the same.
Later, after all these happened i checked my mobile charging cord thoroughly and charged my mobile using this cord. I found it perfectly alright and it(The charging cord of my smartphone), as usual charged my phone thoroughly.
I am using a Panasonic P61 smartphone model for the last 18 months.
I don't know what to do now.
