TD-8840T v4 - Can I block upnp port 1900 and telnet port 23?
Model :
Hardware Version : Not Clear
Firmware Version :
ISP :
hw version:
TD-8840T v4 00000000
firmware version
0.8.0 2.4 v0007.0 Build 141022 Rel.38384n
----------------------------------------------------
I ran nmap on my ip address from here:
http://nmap.online-domain-tools.com/
gives me:
Starting Nmap 6.47 ( http://nmap.org ) at 2016-08-09 08:37 Coordinated Universal Time
Nmap scan report for 220-240-182-188.static.tpgi.com.au (220.240.182.188)
Host is up (0.37s latency).
Not shown: 97 closed ports
PORT STATE SERVICE
23/tcp filtered telnet
80/tcp open http
1900/tcp open upnp
Nmap done: 1 IP address (1 host up) scanned in 11.69 seconds
I am concerned that upnp port 1900 and telnet ports are open.
I would like to restrict access to http only.
Can I do this?
