Hi,
I would like to extend my wifi with my RE450 V1.0 but I cannot get the internet to work. I have installed the latest firmware RE450(EU)_V1_160727 and downgraded to RE450_V1_160530 in case that would solve the problem. I can connect to my wifi router and get access to internet.
My landscape is as such: Internet <-> LT-R480+ (DHCP)<- intranet-> R7000 (Wifi) <-2/5G-> RE450 <-2/5G-> Devices
I noticed something funny in the log though. It seems it tries to get DNS before it actually connects successfully to my wifi router. Sadly. it does not try again after that.

According to the system log, RE450 connected to router and then disconnected from router, at last, it reconnected again.

That is correct. It does connect eventually which is fine I guess. However, If I read the log correctly, it does not try to get the DNS information after it failed the first time. I am assuming this is why I get no internet from the extender. The other devices on my intranet are available such as my NAS. Another strange thing I noticed is that on the wifi router, I see 2 connections (match the 2 MAC addresses of the RE450) but only one gets an IP assigned. The internet is provided by the router that provides the IP addresses for my intranet.

Anyone is using this extender in a similar set up with out issue?

The set up would be:
- Router with DHCP service for the entire network. Gateway to the internet.
- Wifi Router in bridge mode. Does not provide IP addresses.
- RE450 also in bridge mode.
