tpPLC tool not showing device as TP link
Model : TL-WPA4220
Hardware Version :
Firmware Version : 1.3.0
ISP :
I found new firmware for the TL-WPA4220 and this was 'only to be updated with the
tpPLC tool'. So I downloaded it and checked my config. One of the units (the base unit)
was shown as a TP Link device, but the AV500 was an unbranded device. So I could
only update the base unit. After several tries and connections (wireless, wired, etc)
I found that tpPLC detected the AV500 correctly after a factory reset.
So I updated both items and they were both detected as TP Link. So far so good, so
I plugged the devices in where they should and now, all of a sudden, tpPLC shows
both (!) as 'Unknown' in stead of TP Link devices.
What's up?
