When activating the Smart Connect function on my Archer C3200, it systematically choose the worst 2.5GHz channels overlapping with my other routers and neighbors ones. So at the end the performances are worst with Smart Connect than without were I can manually choose the channel. It seems the Smart Connect is designed to use the less used channels without considering overlapping, quite an inefficient method. Is there any trick to use the Smart Connect but the less non overlapping channel? (basically channels 1, 6, or 11)?
Below my latest attempt using Smart Connect: MyHome1-new on channel 10 is overlapping 8 channels, were if configured on channel 11 it will only overlap 2.
