Hi,

I just noticed recently while looking up my IPV6 address that it's not shown properly in the router settings, instead of the IP all that is shown is:




As shown in the below screenshot my system is fully IPV6 enabled.





I am running the latest firmware.

the VR900 does nto support IPV6 from BT or other VDSL providers in the UK as the UK is using a /56 prefix which is not supported by TP-Link VR900 devices. Until TP-LINK provide their user community with an upgrade, the IPV6 on the VR900 will never work correctly.

I've come to the conclusion via this forum and others that it was a mistake to buy a TP-Link product, when I purchased my router it was relatively expensive and performance wise isn't any better than the budget one I was using previously. Their lack of support is abysmal.

I bought a recondition Netgear WNDR3700 dd-wrt for a third of the price of the VR900 and it outperforms it in every way.
