VR900 5Ghz channel width 40Mhz and 80Mhz not working

Model : Archer VR900
Hardware Version : V1
Firmware Version : 0.9.1 1.4 2016-03-16_14.26.0
ISP : GVT
I have two routes, an Archer C9 and a VR900, both using same settings for 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz. Using a MacBook Pro with AC wireless I can connect using 80Mhz and TV Rate of 1300Mbps. Using VR900, I can only connect using 20Mhz and max TX rate of 200~207.
Have tried to change channel width from Auto to 80Mhz on VR900 without success, it still using only 20Mhz and slow TX rates.
Using firmware versions "0.9.1 1.3" and "0.9.1 1.4", same problem on both.
It is probably a firmware problem but I have already upgrade to the latest one. Any ideas about how I can get it fixed?

How did you know VR900 cannot change its band width?

Because network status on Mac shows channel width and I can compare diferences between VR900 and Archer C9 that is supposed to have same results.
VR900:
Archer C9:

Maybe it is because I have Region as "Brazil" on Advanced -> System Tools -> Time Settings. Some regions don't allow some channels.
Just for future reference, problem reported here happens with any channels and even with it set to "auto".

TPLink support don't help with this issue. Basically they think that the problem is on my client :-(
So, I decide to investigate by my self and found a solution (workaround!?):
1. Reset you router pressing reset button for more than 10 seconds with the router powered on.
2. On kick setup, choose United Kingdom or Germany.
3. Proceed with normal configuration.
If you set some countries it lock 40mhz and 80mhz, even if selected, it just don't works. Also, if you turn your router back to Germany or United Kingdom, it still have 40mhz and 80mhz locked so, you need to reset router again.
Someone could say that it is a normal behaviour but it is not, first because when turn it back to "valid regions" problem still remain and second, because on other routers (Archer C9) same regions works with 40mhz and 80mhz.
If someone have access, please close it as fixed because I don't think TP Link will fix this firmware problem.

I bought the router from Germany because i needed the Annex B version, is there a way to change the firmware to English ?
Or even install other firmware like DD-WRT ?

Normally you can have a check in the config page. If there is no language option in the web UI, I think you cannot change the firmware to English through official way.

Yes, you can. Just download firmware from this page:
http://uk.tp-link.com/download/Archer-VR900_V1.html#Firmware
I currently using Archer VR900(EU)_V1_160316. Before update firmware, take some screen shots of you VDSL/ADSL settings so you can replicate later.

Other models (like Archer C9) using latest firmware include option to change language, unfortunately VR900 don't include language menu but you can upgrade firmware to a English version like I mentioned on previous message.

I am afraid this firmware cannot be installed on the VR900 German version. VR900 Annex B version is VR900v and the link you provide is for VR900. VR900v is a different type of model from VR900.
