I would to know, is it possible to use different antenna types on my WA901ND v2.1. I would to have wifi access in my garden too, i have thick walls, so there is no signal in the garden even is use 3x 8dBi (2408) antennas on the repeater.
I can't use powerline adapters, and my windows are not looking directly to my garden. So i thought, what, when i change one of the antennas to an 2409 type, and the other two antennas remain the normal 3, 5 or 8dBi omni types.
So i can place the 2409 somewhere outdoors on my wall, and just drill a hole for the cable, and connect it t my repeater in my room inside :).
