Hi there,

I currently own the AC1750 Wireless Dual Band Gigabit Router (Archer C7). I have two 8tb drives connected via USB. I have all of my devices (3 desktop PC's and 1 laptop) connected via a cat6 Ethernet cable. However, I only get between 2 and 10MB/s file transfer speeds. Is this normal or is there something I can do to speed up the file transfer speeds.

Regards
Lewis

C7 version 3, with firmware current as of 11/2017.
External USB drive, direct connect to computer yields transfer speed of about 50 mB/second. Same drive, when attached to the C7 (via AC WiFi link, less than three feet away, with AC connection reported in Windows 10 at >800mb/second) the same file transfer speed drops to about 10 mB/second. C7 and USB drive both have USB 2 ends, capable of reaching 60 mB/s throughput.
Why can't the C7 achieve a full 60 mB/s transfer to its hardwired USB ports?
