Model : Archer C2600
Hardware Version : Archer C2600 1.0 (1.1)
Firmware Version : 1.1.7 Archer C2600(UN)_V1_160902
ISP: FROM ROMANIA http://www.rcs-rds.ro Digi Net Fiberlink 1000
Internet Conection PPPoE
The issues happen even if IPV6 is ON or OFF.
I just bought this router. I upgraded the firmware and it all looked good, devices connect to the wifi but they lose the connection with the router or the internet speed drops to 0 after a few minutes, i must admit, the signal is strong but the speed in 2.4Ghz band is very poor (it is between 50mbps and 0).
The 5GHz band is fine, LAN speed is 936 Mbps, which is fine.
When I stream a movie to TV, the connection is lost after a few minutes and from TV I can't see the network. SmartShare software from LG does not see the network after several minutes. All these happen in the 2.4 and 5GHz band on WIFI.
When I connect the TV to the router on LAN port 4, the streaming via SmartShare is fine. These issues are only on WIFI.
I have attached some screenshots with my settings and speed Lan, distance between me and the router is 1 meter, it is placed on the wall in the middle of the room!!
Please simulate my problem on the router C2600, having connected more devices, and check the band 2.4 & 5 Ghz with a strong stream Tv!
IPV6 dual stack works fine on this firmware version Archer C2600(UN)_V1_160902!
Thank you!

and you tell me that my desktop has some problems, It is possible i do not say anything....
I told you that it's not very helpful to use Windows network diagnostics to proof possible problems with the WAN port of anther device.
See, in this forum users try to give useful tips and help to other users. If you don't try to troubleshoot the case systematically, I can't help you either.
BTW: I'm not from TP-Link. If you think your router is broken or the firmware is faulty, contact TP-Link support directly: http://ticket.tp-link.com/, maybe they can help. Good luck!

The router was sent in service, they changed my device to a new one!
Problems persist, i think it is the firmware problem, this picture says everything packets lost on the wifi side!

Hello
I installed the latest version of Archer C2600 (UN) software _V1_170306, some issues related to speed on the 2.4Ghz wifi side have solved, but the disconnect issues persist sometimes!
I made a check with the old router wdr3600 rev.1.5 soft ver .150518, and i do not have these problems!
I bought this router C2600 because the old router wdr3600 was not able to support 1 GB speed with ipv6 dual-stack PPPoE !
I think this is a soft bug, i tried to send ping to my smart TV LG 42LN575S , and here sometimes there are packet losses!
I made this test ping because i saw that i had interruptions through smart share, when i wanted to see a movie via 5GHz wireless!
These two problems have not met on the old router in the wirles side!
The second problem is support for software optimization on the side 1 GB speed with ipv6 dual-stack PPPoE, in test speed from https://speedtest6.ziggo.nl/ for ipv6 i do not pass by 675Mbps!
If you look over pictures in speed test in dual stock the speed is very good 937 Mbps, my internet provider http://www.rcs-rds.ro they are not limited to peering!
Thx

I've been having the same issues with the 2.4 ghz band. The only thing running on this band is a camera I have. Everything else is on the 5 ghz band which had issues in the past but a firmware update fixed that.
I used someone's sugesstion from above to turn the 'auto' features off and so far it is working with my camera! Will keep an eye on it and see if it ends up solving the issue entirely.
Really annoying that TP-Link created a router with so many issues. My old Linksys WRT router was going strong for many years on the Tomato firmware. I haven't even had this router for 2 years and it's been causing me headaches.
