TL-WN722N with ERROR Set Mode (8B06) Monitor Mode not allowed
Model : TL-WN722N
Hardware Version :
Firmware Version :
ISP :
Hi all, I've got drivers for Linux v2.0 for Europe. I'm able also to install for Kali Linux, however when I'm trying to put as monitor mode I get some different errors depending on the command used. Most commonly error shown is:
iwconfig wlan0 mode monitor
Error for wireless request "Set Mode" (8B06) :
SET failed on device wlan0 ; Operation not permitted.
I suspect that drivers are not properly hardcoded to be active in monitor mode by default. I would expect someone can be able to offer some help on:
1) Which file on drivers folder should be modified before re-install drivers to get monitor mode active?.
2) I assume that this model can be able to work in monitor mode, this is reason I bought this model.
