Routing issue - WR841N v12
Model :
Hardware Version :
Firmware Version :
ISP :
I have connected a WR841n router to an ISP modem (routing mode), however, I cannot connect to the internet. However, hooking my PC to the ISP modem, I can.
Accessed tehrouter via port 80, and after troubleshooting, found out the following:
1- System routing table shows the following: 0.0.0.0 mask 255.255.255.255 Gateway = WAN IP address (should not
I have tried adding a default route - 0.0.0.0 mask 0.0.0.0 Gateway = WAN ip Address, however, the router gave me an error message, and default route is not added.
Adding a specific route - example - 216.0.0.0 mask 255.0.0.0 gateway = WAN IP Address worked fine, and I could access all sites within these IP addresses.
How to fix this issue, knowing that I have tried resetting the Router to Factory default, with no success?
I still need to use this router - as a router and not as a bridge (which may resolve the issue of the default router is I decide to do so)
best regards
