TP-Link TL-WN822N V2: can't see 5G SSID after reinstall of Windows 10
Model :
Hardware Version :
Firmware Version :
ISP :
I reinstalled Windows 10.
After reinstall the WiFi-adapter isn't TP-Link TL-WN822N but "Qualcomm Atheros AR7015 Wireless Network Adapter".
This is the by Windows 10 automatically installed driver. It works but I can't see the 5G SSID of my router, only the 2.4G.
[*]Automatic updating driver does not work.
[*]I tried the following (Solution in http://forum.tp-link.com/showthread.php?98706-TP-wn822n-v2-driver-windows-10&highlight=wn822n+v2):
[*] try the windows 8 driver one from here.
http://www.tp-link.com/us/download/T...V2.html#Driver (111116)
Manually install it like this.
http://www.tp-link.com/us/faq-920.html
[*]Result (chose the Windows 7 x64 driver):
It says something like: driver are found but an error occured while installing (TP-LINK Wireless USB Adapter). The has for the file is missing. It is likely that the file is corrupted or has been tampered with.
