Archer T4U not detecting 5ghz wifi Windows 10

Hello.
I just recently purchased a T4U for my desktop last week, and it does not detect the 5ghz networks, only the 2.4.
I am right near the modem, so it is not a distance issue, and in the house we have a laptop, chromecast and phones that are all able to detect and use the 5ghz frequency, so everything is fine at that end.
Any suggestions?
