Hello, My DD-WRT experience is only with Linksys routers. I had a WRT54G and I still have an E3000 working very well with DD-WRT build 21061 without trouble on the USB port for storage or printer.......

I think there is no future for WR1043ND, its design is too old now... Further more, TP-Link has proven with all their models, they are not capable to develop a firmware managing properly the USB...

Did you install it? Is it using the stupid "login/logout" implemented on the last WR1043ND firmware?
