I have same SSID. If you are't sure, you can test same ssid for weeks and test different ssid for weeks. I guess you will figure out what you really want:D

It's more like some settings on Asus router. Maybe you need to change IP address on that router or turn off DHCP on that router. There's no such settings on TP-LINK as I know.
