Model: Archer C6
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: As supplied (not yet installed)

I have a new installation of 600mb fibre optic.

I have the service provider's supplied 4 port dual band router. Which has the fibre cable input.

I also have a brand new in box Trust Archer C6 router. (It says V 2 on the box so am assuming it is the hardware version)

I have two areas of my property where i need wired connections, approx 25metres apart. Wired file transfer speeds are a priority - I work with very large graphics files and all connected kit is now fully gigabit compliant, I have all new cat 6 cables, so i want to take advantage of the leap from 100mb

Neither router would alone be able to cover my entire property with strong wi-fi.

I think that my ideal solution in terms of coverage and hardware is impossible, because i would be asking two routers to do the same job. If I am wrong, great, this would be the easiest. see diagram.

Assuming that isn't possible, it would be logical to use the Supplied router as intended and the Archer in access point mode, however I want to use the Arcger as the main network controlling router. There are several reasons. The service provider supplied router is only configurable in Spanish. I will never be able to manage it as effectively. The Archer has many features the supplied router does not. MIMO, Parental Controls, VPN and stronger/faster WIFI.

If I am right so far I have two alternative configurations. One would be to get a second Archer C6 or similar. Use one as the main router and one in access point mode, this covering both wired and wireless issues. The second would be to repalce the Archer c6 for an 8 port router to serve all of the wired needs, and use trust range extenders for the wireless. I prefer the first as it involves less long cable runs, but if there is any benefit in file serving speed in keeping to one main router, i would consider it.

The two options I have come with are ...

and

Unless the first scenario is somehow possible, which of the two alternatives has merits over the other?

In either Setup A or B , aside from turning off the wifi of the service provider supplied router, do i have to alter its configuration in any other way?

Any thoughts, suggestions, and especially information on the configuration of the service provider supplied fibre optic router very much appreciated.
