Desktop/table mountable version of EAP225-Wall Access Point
Hi, just wondering if TP-Link have a desktop or table mountable version of a access point similiar in spec to the EAP225-Wall?
Aruba have their AP11D model that comes with a desktop/table stand and is also wall mountable. Wondering if TP-Link have plans for a desktop/table version of a access point for the Omada series?
Are there any other access points in the TP-Link range that I can leave on a desktop/table that are compatiable with the Omada eco-system? Thanks in advance.

@George_P, you can place the EAP225-Outdoor on a desktop/table. Despite its name it can also be used indoors. Just align the antennas 90º upwards. However, there is no stand available.

The EAP225 and EAP245 can be placed on a desk. Their antenna radiation pattern is basically a hemisphere.
Not sure about the EAP225-Wall, but it may be similar. I am just not a fan of the EAP225-Wall only having 100Mbps Ethernet ports; other EAPs are all 1G.

I would love something like this, something similar to the Ubiquiti FlexHD. A simple omnidirectional 3x3 indoor device.

@mackworth If you really like the flexhd...why don't you buy one? I really like them too and install alot of them.

@Doc2485 Cost basically. I already have an EAP245, would love to see more flexible options that works under the Omada umbrella.

@George_P Understand that a EAP225 on a table would work but once again it is not an attractive opton for the space.
